Swachha Vasundhara Abhiyaan
Swachha Vasundhara Abhiyaan is a government registered NGO which is run by a group of students from Mumbai and works exclusively for environment
We are dedicated to hands-on environmental conservation and sustainable development efforts across Maharashtra.
Our mission is centered on practical, community-driven initiatives that tackle immediate environmental threats, most notably marine and plastic pollution. Our signature activities include extensive and regular clean-up drives of beaches and mangrove ecosystems, such as those consistently held at Carter Road in Mumbai. We frequently organize these efforts in partnership with government bodies like the Mangrove Foundation (Government of Maharashtra), educational institutions, and corporate volunteers, demonstrating our collaborative approach to civic responsibility.
Beyond waste management, we are deeply involved in broader ecosystem preservation, including water conservation projects, maintaining natural habitats, and spearheading environmental education programs in local schools to foster long-term change. Our mission translates awareness into tangible action for a cleaner, healthier earth.
